RAG (RECEIVE AND GIVE)

RAG (Receive and Give) is an annual event in NUS where all the faculties and halls struggle hard to construct the best float with the statics in order to win the prestigious Chancellor Shield.

The main purpose of RAG is to thank the public for their generous contributions on NUS Flag Day. Besides, it is an occasion when all participants can express their creativity and unity despite the fact that NUS students come from various backgrounds. On the other hand, the diversity will lead them to come out with a lot of unique ideas in terms of the float design.

The presentation is held during the RAG Day. Besides showing the float to the judges, each participant presents a performance/dance that is related to the theme of the float.

In Hall of Residence category, eight awards and one shield will be awarded.
